PAINT THE TOWN READ: The Lightning Thief at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, New York

IMG_5085

As soon as I walked into the Met, I could picture everything that set The Lightning Thief into motion. I could have spent days there, drinking in every beautiful thing in sight. I’ve always found Greek and Roman mythology fascinating, and admired their art from afar. But I was not prepared to see it in person. The collection of Greek and Roman art at the Met was so stunning I actually wanted to cry. I could show you guys the hundreds of pictures I took, but nothing will do it justice.

You can see more Paint the Town Read posts as they’re uploaded on my Instagram account with the hashtag #caapaintthetownread.
