#ReadWomen

A little while ago, Manda (ladybookmad on Tumblr) had the brilliant idea for a reading challenge in December. It’s REALLY simple: you just spend the month of December exclusively reading works by female authors.

If you want to participate but have to read books by male authors for a class or other commitment, don’t worry! There are heaps of people in the same boat, including Manda, who created #readwomen. This challenge is all about making deliberate choices with your recreational reading.

There’s also a super cool giveaway happening for participants!

I just finished reading Hindsight by Melanie Casey and these are some of the other books I’m hoping to read this month. Considering my recent track record, ‘hoping’ is the operative word in that sentence. I can but try.

  1. I’ve been accidentally doing this already this month! I finished reading ‘The Memory Keeper’s Daughter’ (meh…) and then decided to start reading the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness all over again 🙂 What a great idea!
