One of my most anticipated book releases in 2016 was Gemina—the second book in The Illuminae Files—so when I heard that The YA Chronicles was going to be doing a box based on this book, I signed up immediately. Also, let’s just take in the glorious new boxes from The YA Chronicles, yeah? Because I am in love with them.
Here’s what lucky humans received in the Gemina box:
Since I accidentally deleted some photos from my camera, I’ll add in a close-up picture of the microfibre case from The Book Hangover’s Redbubble store a bit later. We also received a letter from the authors and a poster of their devious faces. They’re probably plotting to murder a character and break your heart in that photo. Just saying.
We got SCHEMATICS FOR JUMP STATION HEIMDALL! I am very excited about this because a) I love maps and b) I love space stations.
This bitchin’ tote bag was designed by EvieBookish and this quote has me super excited to get stuck into reading Gemina. Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff have a creepy and fascinating way with words.
And of course we received an Australian copy of Gemina! BUT WAIT.
IT’S SIGNED. And it’s embossed with the awesome The YA Chronicles Approved mark.
Now, this is a one-off box but you can subscribe to The YA Chronicles for just $29.99 a month (shipping will vary), or you can check out their website for package deals.
