So it’s no secret that I really enjoyed my first Nerdy Post and I was eager to receive the Game of Thrones-themed package. Unfortunately, it got lost in the mail and I had to wait ages for a replacement to arrive. Then, a week after my replacement arrived, and just over three months after it was sent, the initial package arrived with a bunch of stamps that said, ‘MISSENT TO ARUBA.’
Not all A countries are the same, postal service. GEEZ. Anyway, it’s finally here and it’s just as beautiful as it looked in everyone’s pictures.
Everything in the box was created by Alexis from Drop and Give Me Nerdy. There’s the little Valar Morghulis badge in the top photo.
A sticker, which took me a while to read properly because I just thought it was a bunch of pretty swirls until I turned it the right way up. So very intelligent.
This little notepad, which gives you the opportunity to blame George R.R. Martin for basically everything in your life. Accurate. Very accurate.
A double-sided bookmark, which reads ‘My sun and stars’ on one side…
… and ‘Moon of my life’ on the other.
An actual postcard that you get to colour in however you want!
A reminder of what to say to the god of death. (It’s a magnet, so if the god of death hangs out near your fridge a lot you’ll always remember how to react.)
And finally a poster with one of my favourite quotes on it! ‘A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone.’ So very wise, Tyrion Lannister.
