Join me for my March 2018 book photo challenge!

Welcome to my March photo challenge! This year, all my monthly challenges will be going under the hashtag #Ampersand2018, though I’ll be creating prompts for each month as usual.

I started creating photo challenges exactly two years ago, so I’m really excited for this one. I’ve given ideas for each prompt below, but you can interpret them however you choose! Don’t forget to check out my tips for conquering a book photo challenge!

  1. Character: Your favourite character, or an opportunity to get dressed up for a photo!
  2. Dreams: A dreamy setting, or something you’re busy dreaming up.
  3. Trio: Your favourite trilogy or trio of characters.
  4. Collection: Candles, mugs, specific editions … what do you collect?
  5. Ombre: Pick your favourite colour and make a #bookishombre.
  6. Brew: A book and your favourite drink.
  7. Texture: Get cosy with different cushions and throw rugs, or focus on a  textured cover.

  9. Nope: A book or series that you just couldn’t get into, or had to put on the DNF pile.
  10. Moon: It’s Remus Lupin’s birthday! Try your hand at a werewolf-themed photo.
  11. Dare: Something you want to achieve, or a book that you’re scared to read.
  12. Improved: A book series that has gotten better over time.
  13. Space: I’ve been looking forward to the release of Obsidio for aaaaaages! Australians have to wait one more day while other humans enjoy it, but I’m going to be sharing some sci-fi love.
  14. Taste: It’s Pi Day, so have a go at some bookish baking! Not your thing? You can also take a photo of a book from your preferred genre, or talk about a genre that’s not to your liking.
  15. Rainbow: Make a #bookishrainbow!
  16. Reign: Bookish royalty!
  17. Green: It’s St Patrick’s Day! Get out your green books for a photo.

  22. Leaf: Get literal with this one, or leaf through your favourite book for something captivating.
  23. Cup: How do you use your mugs and tea cups? Are they reserved for drinks, or do you use them for decoration and storage as well?
  24. D.I.Y: Get crafty with this one. Stuck for ideas? Try your hand at my dragon egg tutorial! Remember to tag #CAADragonEggs as well!
  25. Epic: It’s Tolkien Reading Day, so it’s only fitting that I set a prompt for some epic fantasy reads.
