Join me for my #AmpersandFeb20 photo challenge!

My #AmpersandFeb20 photo challenge is here! For those who are new here, welcome. And for those who’ve participated in any of my previous challenges, welcome back!

Remember, you can interpret the prompts however you choose. If you’re inspired by something else, go for it! You can also check out my tips for conquering a book photo challenge here. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or message me via Instagram. And now for the prompts:

  1. TBR: What books are you planning to read this month/this year?
  2. Secondary characters: Your favourite side characters that need more love.
  3. #BooksAndFlowers: Real or fake (or even on a book cover), include some flowers in your post!
  4. #BookMail: Merch or books that you’ve received recently. If you haven’t received anything, you could feature a book with letters in it, like an epistolary novel.
  5. LGBTQ+: A book that features LGBTQ+ characters, or that is written by an LGBTQ+ author.
  6. #CurrentlyReading: The book you’re reading either at the time you take this photo or on this particular day.
  7. More than one author: A book written by more than one author. Check out this list for some ideas.
  8. Rereads: Books that you want to reread.
  9. Pink: Bust out some pink books for a photo.
  10. Romance: Feature some books with a romance you enjoy.
  11. Friendship: Feature some books with friendships you enjoy.
  12. Adaptations: Feature some of your favourite book-to-movie or book-to-TV adaptations!
  13. Galentine’s Day: Celebrate the amazing women in fiction and literature with a focus on female characters and authors.
  14. Love: Spread the love on International Book Giving Day!
  15. #StackSaturday: Stack up some of your favourite books for a photo.
  16. #LibraryLover: Share some appreciation for your local library in Library Lovers’ Month.
  17. Kind characters: Showcase some kind characters.
  18. Sequel: Feature your favourite sequels.
  19. Most-owned author: Which author features most frequently in your collection? If nothing stands out, talk about an author whose work you’ve read the most.
  20. Favourite genre: The genre you come back to time after time.
  21. Language: Feature a book in a different language, or a writing style that you love.
  22. Cracked spines: Embrace those well-loved books in your collection.
  23. Duology: Showcase some duologies (two books in a series). Here’s a list to get you started.
  24. Make: Get crafty with this photo! Share some of your projects, cooking skills, writing plans, or just some things that make you happy.
  25. Second book on your shelf: Grab the second book on your shelf and take a photo with it.
  26. Retelling: Feature your favourite retellings (these are new versions of an older story). Check out this list for some ideas.
  27. Collection: A collection of bookmarks, books, or anything, really.
  28. Pastel books: Take a photo with some soft pastels.
  29. Wrap-up: How did your reading go this month?
