I went into this book knowing almost nothing about it, and it turned out to be FANTASTIC and one of my favourite books of 2017. It’s a gender-bent story of Vlad the Impaler (in this book, she’s called Lada) and I am so here for it.

Ohhhh dear. I really wanted to like this one. I requested it because the plot (a woman donating her eggs to an infertile couple and navigating the relationship afterwards) sounded intriguing. I knew from others that this would be a bit cheesy, and I was totally ready for it.

After the Kevin Spacey assault allegations, everyone was waiting with baited breath to see how All the Money in the World played out on-screen. I’m happy to say that it was still a great movie, and all the work that the cast and crew put into reshooting paid off.
