READ THIS MONTH: July 2015

I feel like this month went forever. I cannot believe that I read To Kill a Mockingbird only a few weeks ago. I feel like it’s been with me a lot longer than that. Since then, I’ve gotten lost in the world of Treading Twisted Lines by Aussie author Beth Madden and loved it. Reading more than one book at a time doesn’t work well for me, though. Lucky All the Light We Cannot See is so evocative I can always remember exactly where I left off!

Happy book birthday, Suddenly Calling!

I work with some pretty awesome people but I hardly ever talk to them. That’s mostly because I work for a transcription company, so we spend all day with headphones on, typing away. I recently found out that Beth, one of the other transcribers, is in the process of publishing a story cycle called Treading Twisted Lines.

Treading Twisted Lines is ‘a fantasy story cycle that will eventually comprise twenty-five independent yet interdependent stories’. So far Beth has published (in intended reading order) The Chosen VoiceUnder the Bright Water, and The Rat. And now she welcomes a new story to the fold: Suddenly Calling was published today! I bought all the stories on my Kindle last night, and I’m excited to dive into them!

You can find Beth on GoodreadsSmashwords, Tumblr, Twitter, and right here on WordPress.
